With its recent acquisition of London-based OrangeDoor, Unbridled signaled ambitious plans for global expansion. Beyond growing its international footprint, the company is investing in more sophisticated content and production capabilities to empower clients.
Stan Bullis is the founder and president of Unbridled, a global experience agency known for purpose-driven work, world-class events, and a culture of generosity. With a people-first approach and bold entrepreneurial spirit, he has grown Unbridled into one of the most respected privately held agencies in the industry.
In addition to fueling the future of the global meetings industry, Bullis is focused on creating a local impact in Cañon City, Colorado. Over the past seven years, he has taken the lead in efforts to revitalize the mountain town community, converting once-abandoned properties into a four-star hotel and private event spaces.
What differentiates Unbridled in today’s competitive meetings and events landscape?
Our fully integrated, end-to-end model allows leaders to focus on the bigger picture of strategy and imagination, knowing a single, trusted team can translate vision into world-class execution across the entire event lifecycle. That integration reduces complexity, accelerates decision-making, and provides a level of clarity and confidence that most fragmented agency models can’t match.
Philosophically, we believe extraordinary experiences come from equal parts creativity, operational rigor, and human connection. Our team is intentionally agile, deeply service-oriented, and relentlessly responsive. Our 95% client retention rate and strong referral-driven growth show that clients love that combination.
How has the company’s offering evolved over the past few years in response to changing client needs or market conditions?
As attendees look for coherence over content and organizations rethink their identities in the age of AI, we are moving beyond execution alone and deepening our role as strategic partners. Today, we place greater emphasis on insight-driven design, narrative clarity, and experience architecture that helps organizations communicate change, build trust, and move people emotionally and practically.
What investments have been most critical to Unbridled’s growth or evolution in the past year, whether in talent, tools, or partnerships?
The most significant investment was our merger with OrangeDoor, a London-based events and exhibits agency that shares our values-driven approach to work. This partnership meaningfully expanded our international footprint, added deep expertise in trade shows and exhibits, and strengthened our ability to serve technology companies whose event needs are rapidly evolving as AI advances.
Equally important has been our continued investment in talent. As a founder-owned company, we’re not driven by short-term profitability pressures common in private-equity-backed models. That freedom allows us to invest deliberately in people through hiring exceptional talent, building strong support systems, and creating space for individuals to grow and master their craft. We believe the quality of our work is a direct reflection of the health, trust, and capability of our team, and that philosophy has been a key driver of our evolution and sustained growth.
What recent milestone, investment, or strategic shift best reflects where Unbridled is headed today?
Our acquisition of OrangeDoor shows that our business is focused on expanding in Europe. However, the move wasn’t merely geographic. It also signaled our intent to become a truly global, integrated experience partner with deeper capabilities in trade shows, exhibits, and complex brand environments — particularly for technology and public companies.
Alongside that expansion, we’ve been deliberately broadening how we serve existing clients. We’re increasingly cross- and up-selling trade show and exhibit solutions across our client base. We’re also extending our content and production expertise into high-impact experiential investor days for public companies, while leaning into formats that reflect how people now gather and engage. That includes micro-events, hybrid and distributed experiences, and experiential activations designed for flexibility, speed, and relevance.
