Leadership Moves

Chad Blaise, previously Stova‘s chief revenue officer, is the new CEO of event management solutions company Streampoint. With a decade of experience in event technology, Streampoint’s board is looking to Blaise to lead the company’s growth with a fresh perspective on delivering exceptional experiences and embracing innovation.

Kim Niederman has stepped into the CEO role at webcasting company GlobalMeet. He has a reputation for scaling companies to significant market capitalizations. With his previous successes, GlobalMeet expects to accelerate into a new growth phase.

New Products

SnapSight by Gevme, previously called Spark Takeaways, is a standalone AI-powered tool designed to summarize and extract insights from content sessions. The platform offers real-time analytical capabilities when summarizing live sessions, creates interactive idea clouds, and enables content sharing.

AMC Theatres and Zoom Video Communications have announced the launch of Zoom Rooms at AMC. Now available in select markets, Zoom Rooms at AMC offers businesses a unique way to conduct large-scale, interactive hybrid gatherings in a comfortable theater environment.

The Parisian start-up StoragePal is reimagining event logistics with its tech-powered self-storage offering. Promising up to 60% savings compared to traditional options, StoragePal provides a digital catalog for event organizers to store their items with a just-in-time service approach. The company currently operates in Paris and plans to expand into London, Amsterdam, and the U.S. in the next few years.

Travel platform Spotnana released Spotnana Events, designed to streamline travel management for corporate and leisure events. This new tool allows for simple event creation, advanced travel controls, and real-time event insights, all part of the company’s Travel-as-a-Service platform.

New Features

Event management platform Bizzabo now offers room block management through an integration with the Resiada hotel room block management platform. This new function is designed to simplify the attendee’s journey from event registration to hotel reservation.

Tripleseat announced Tripleseat Tickets, a registration and ticketing solution, and TripleseatDirect, a direct booking tool. These solutions provide restaurants and venues with efficient solutions for managing ticket sales and large party reservations.

Virtual event platform Banzai announced an expansion of Reach, its event marketing solution. The expanded version was designed to increase event registration rates by targeting potential attendees through personalized, multi-channel campaigns. This tailored approach departs from broader promotional tactics, focusing on quality leads to drive successful event outcomes.

Partnerships

A new strategic partnership exists between destination software specialists Simpleview and interactive mapping tool creators Visit Widget. The two companies will launch a mobile app application that integrates Simpleview’s technology. This will allow travelers to plan their visits with an app that offers itinerary building, digital passports, and insightful analytics.

Swoogo is now available on the Zoom App Marketplace, targeting hybrid event experiences. This collaboration enables a seamless connection between Zoom Events and Swoogo’s event management technology. The integration connects Swoogo event websites with registration flow on Zoom Events and synchronizes speaker profiles and sessions across both platforms.

Zenus and the IMEX Group have extended their partnership to streamline participants’ experience through data analytics at IMEX Frankfurt and IMEX America. IMEX will use Zeus’s technology to understand attendee behaviors better and optimize event flow and engagement.
