Wyndham Partners With Groups360 to Offer Instant Group Bookings

Skift Take

Wyndham has teamed with Groups360 to enable instant group bookings across its U.S. hotel portfolio.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the latest company to offer Groups360’s GroupSync instant meeting booking platform. On Monday, the company announced that it will incorporate more than 5,600 Wyndham U.S. hotels into GroupSync.

Wyndham joins Marriott International, Hilton Worldwide, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Accor, and Omni Hotels & Resorts, which also offer Groups360. In total, GroupSync now enables instant booking at 200,000 hotels. Wyndham is the first hotel company to offer this for economy accommodations on the platform.

Time-Saving Tool

GroupSync features real-time rates and availability at participating hotels. It enables the booking of ten to 50 rooms directly without contacting the hotel or engaging in a traditional RFP. Meeting space for events can also be booked.

“We’re always looking for new ways to make it simpler and easier for clients to do business with Wyndham,” says Angie Gadwood, SVP Global Sales, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Groups360 and GroupSync are part of the Wyndham Business program. The program caters to small and mid-size business owners, travel advisors, and meeting planners. In addition, discounted rates and exclusive perks are offered.

Access for All

Historically, this type of booking capability was only available in more upscale hotels. “As the leader in the select-service and economy hotel segments, we have thousands of hotel options for these business travelers who wear hard hats and boots. Leveraging Groups360 allows us to make those hotels more readily available to book now,” says Gadwood.

In addition, Groups360 helps smaller group events streamline booking processes. Small groups with short lead times are the cornerstone of today’s meetings and events.

“Wyndham’s portfolio is unique in that it represents key property categories that expand GroupSync’s Instant Booking inventory. In bringing their U.S. portfolio on board, we’re able to deliver a broader, more robust, more inclusive offering,” says Kemp Gallineau, CEO of Groups360.
