Skift Take

Entrants to the Asian hotel market in 2026 range from well-known business brands to the top luxury names.

The 2025 Incentive Travel Index named Japan as the standout incentive destination for 2026, citing its seamless transportation, safety, and cultural experiences. Singapore was also on planners' radar for its luxe corporate and incentive properties. Meanwhile, Southeast Asia’s hotel sector continues to expand at an unprecedented pace, led by luxury projects in Vietnam and Thailand.

The latest hotels opening in these destinations suit every taste, from Bangkok’s Langham, Customs House, located in a former post office dating back to 1888, to 1 Hotel Tokyo, towering over the capital city from the 38th floor.

Here are 10 important 2026 openings for meeting and incentive groups.
