Giveaway: Win 20 Copies of Event Planning eBook “Events”

August 24th, 2011 at 11:43 AM EDT

Event Manager Blog is giving away 20 copies of the eBook ‘Events. How do you organise a successful event?’.
This post is by Julius Solaris for Event Manager Blog (?).

It’s particularly tough to find good books on event planning these days. So when Kevin Van Der Straeten of EventPlanner.be contacted me to let me know that an English version of his eBook was out, I was quite excited about it.

What is it about?

‘Events’ is a comprehensive guide to event planning. It features a very practical approach with check lists and easy to follow tips. I liked the attention to Social Media marketing with great sections about Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.

You can have a sneak peek here (click here if you can’t see the preview):

Who is it for?

The book is a must have for those starting in events. The detailed approach to all aspects of event planning make it a reference for those who are new to the industry.

I also think it is a great fix for those already in the industry for quite some time and willing to learn about event technology and social media marketing for events.

20 Copies for Free

Kevin has reserved a free copy of the eBook, normally priced at €17.50 (US$25 – £15), for the first 20 lucky readers who will answer to the following question in the comments: What is the full name of the LinkedIn Group we started in 2008, now with almost 40,000 members? (Tip: Look on the sidebar)

UPDATE: All the 20 copies have been allocated. Stay tuned for more giveaways in the near future.

Disclaimer: Winners are selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Be Quick. You will receive the code to claim your copy via email. I will share the email address where to claim your code as a reply to your comment. Make sure to check comments and to send an email to the specified address. If you are not comfortable with sending an email to claim your code, this giveaway is not for you.
