A significant career move for Annette Gregg who moves from number two at Meeting Professionals International to the top job at Society for Incentive Travel Excellence.

The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has appointed Annette Gregg, currently serving as Meeting Professional International’s (MPI) chief revenue officer, for the top job at both SITE and the SITE Foundation.

Gregg initially joined MPI’s staff as senior vice president of experience in September 2019, rising to MPI’s de facto #2 role under CEO Paul Van Deventer. She had also served on MPI’s board since 2014 and was due to be chair in 2020. Gregg previously held a variety of leadership roles in the meetings industry, including stints at PRA, San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau and Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau. She has also worked as a corporate planner at LPL Financial.

“We’re thrilled to announce Annette Gregg as our new CEO knowing that the depth of her experience, the strength of her relationships, and the clarity of her vision will help SITE navigate the road ahead and realize its vision to build and bridge cultures through the transformative power of incentive travel and motivational experiences,” said SITE president Kevin Edmunds.

“My appointment as Chief Executive Officer at SITE will allow me to integrate my career experience to help move this legacy association to new heights. I have always been convinced of the transformative power of travel experiences for individuals, enterprises, communities and society at large,” said Gregg.

Gregg takes over from interim executive director Rebecca Wright and will start her role on November 14.
