Linkedin Events Group: Where we are and where we're going

The Linkedin community is becoming an active part of this blog and I am very happy with that.

I don't know if you are aware of this but I started a group on Linkedin called "Event Planning & Management". It now counts on 1300 top of the industry members and it is growing steadily.

Unlike other groups, associations and pseudo-professional bodies it is completely free to join and the only requirement is an innate passion for events.

The group gathers on a specifically designed external website. Several members are now able to talk about themselves in their own blog, ask questions in a forum or join interests groups.

My commitment towards the group is to grant that no spam or control will make it to other members and to keep the platform free.

So far I have seen great professionals coming on board and sharing their story and I must say it has been a refreshing experience.

If you feel like joining what you need to do is clicking on this link and follow the instructions. As I am managing everything by myself and with no earning, you may experience a delay in the approval but I am working hard to make everyone happy.

If you have feedback start sharing it here as well as within the club as you now have thousands of ears ready to listen
