The Skift Meetings Innovation Lab is an interactive event addressing key industry topics through facilitated peer-to-peer discussions.

We gather each participant’s challenges before the event and compile the key topics worth discussing. At the event, we use the knowledge of peers in the room to uncover valuable knowledge and experience that leads to tangible innovation.

Our hand-picked event scientists lead facilitated conversations that spur solutions and help build valuable connections. Participants can be sure to leave inspired and full of fresh ideas for their events.

The event is split into two sessions: In the first session, we explore the latest content and knowledge trends. Expect to discuss attendee engagement, speaker selection, managing abstracts and posters and innovative session formats, among many other topics.

In the second session, we discuss the latest destination and venue trends. Expect to discuss site selection, contracting, staffing, incentives, blended travel, and destination marketing, among many other topics.

This in-person-only event, part of IMEX America’s Smart Monday program, occurs the day before the show (Monday, October 16) at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
